On May 6th and 13th, Camp Mooney held its annual series of spring service days to clean up the camp and prepare it for its spring and summer events. Over 30 Scouts and Scouters attended between the two events, contributing a combined total of nearly 200 hours of service to the camp!Â
Projects completed at camp include completing a storage shelter, pressure washing and cleaning camp structures, replacing a kybo lock, making new camp signs, trail and campsite clearing, mowing and weed eating, and the cutting, splitting and stacking of a lot of firewood.Â
The Camp Mooney Property Committee would like to thank all the volunteers who came out and helped get camp ready for Camporee, the Merit Badge Fair and unit camping.Â
